Synfig Update

I just wanted everyone to know that Synfig will be getting attention soon. Once I get this site rewritten using my new content engine, I intend to use that content engine to make a Synfig project website. When I get a job offer from somewhere, then I will release the Synfig codebase under the GPL. Then you can play with the tool that has taken over my life for the past three years.

The open source community is really going to appreciate this gesture. I think the combination of Inkscape and Synfig will be awesome. Can't wait to try it out. Thanks man, and good luck with the job hunting.

Wow... that and GIMP too. I\'m sure there\'s a way to integrate these titans of open source graphics (GIMP, InkScape, Blender, and maybe Synfig)
Take your time, dude. And if you need help adding the GPL to the code and all, I\'m sure there will be willing people. You might want to even try putting it up on source forge... but either way, I\'ll be rooting for your new job and to finish it all up! Peace
