They stated that the medication was stopped after consulting with their physician. The problem is that it's very common for patients to pressure physicians. Scientologist have an extremely radical postion in regard to psychotropic medications. So i suspect that stopping the anti-siezure medication had more to do with their "religous" beliefs than what was in the best interest of the child.

The whole thing about detoxing this kid is disturbing. Do tell me what toxins we're dealing with here. Carpet cleaner? Detoxing is a scam.

On the other hand, is Travolta still a smoker? Nicotine is certainly toxic, or do they ignore that one?

Taking this child off anti-siezure meds is alot like drunk driving, usually you don't have a accident and kill someone. In this case, their "religous" beliefs might have killed this kid.

In short if this kid was taken off of siezure meds because his parents are scientologists, then yes, it's borderline criminal neglegence, at least child endangerment.

I too sympathize with the parents, they lost a child, but perhaps needlessly. One thing for sure we'll never know the truth, they're celebrities, they are above the law.

How many other parents are going to think that it's ok to take their kids off certain psychotropic meds because of Scientology propagands. A full disclosure of this case might have prevented another trajegdy.
